Put simply, many hours are spent on each build in a climate-controlled shop. As a guitar player myself, I want to make sure that your new guitar will be one that is enjoyed for many years.
Each guitar is guaranteed for its life as long as the original owner properly stores, cares for, and maintains it; proper care includes avoiding exposure to adverse temperature and/or humidity that results in damage and/or playability issues. Damage caused by neglect, accident, or unauthorized modification and/or repair will void the guarantee. Normal wear-and-tear associated with playing a guitar is not covered. Alcohol- or petroleum-based cleaners are not recommended.
If not satisfied with your guitar within one week of receipt it can be returned for a refund less applicable S&H charges. Uniquely customized guitars are not subject to this return policy and will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis. In the event that the guitar requires some form of repair due to damage(s), the associated repair cost will be factored against the refund amount.
I will follow-up with you at four intervals during the first year to make sure that your guitar is performing as it should. My guitars are built in a climate-controlled shop so the first few weeks will be a transition period for your newly-built guitar as it fully settles-in to its forever home. With that said, there may be a need for some slight adjustment as both you and your guitar get acclimated during the first 30 days. If it is something that I cannot personally tend to as a result of physical distance, a looth or guitar tech that is nearest to you can be agreed upon to do the adjustment.
